Ushiku Daibutsu is a statue located in Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Completed in 1993, it stands a total of 120 metres (390 ft) tall, including the 10 m (33 ft) base and 10m lotus platform.

U.S. and allied troops established the camp as part of Operation Provide Comfort, a multinational effort to aid the thousands of Kurds who fled their homes after fighting broke out between Kurdish groups and Iraqi government forces following Operation Desert Storm, 04/27/1991

According to one story of this encounter, Villa iinsisted they take turns sitting in the presidential chair for the photographer. Zapata repliad: “I didn’t fight for that. We should burn that chair to end all ambitions.” You can really get a sense of their personalities in this photograph.
